Market Engagement Event for Supported Accommodation for Young People (16+) in Leicestershire

Leicestershire County Council's (LCC) Children & Family Services would like to invite interested providers to a Collaboration Event for Supported Accommodation for Young People (16+) Services.

LCC's Current 16+ Supported Accommodation Framework is due to end on 31st July 2020. LCC has made the decision not to continue with a framework agreement and to include the requirements as Phase 2 of our Gateway2Resources (G2R) commissioning model (which will involve the creation of a Dynamic Purchasing System). G2R has just launched Phase 1 for Fostering Agencies and Residential Children's Homes.

LCC are passionate about working with providers to co-design the detail of this category and understand what a collaborative approach could/should look like and address some of the key barriers and challenges that occur with the current approach.

We would like to invite you to the Collaboration Event which is being held on Tuesday 18th February 2020. The session is scheduled to start at 10.30 am with registration from 10.00 am and will finish no later than 12.30 pm. Information about the venue will be provided upon confirmation of registration. If your organisation would like to send a delegate to this session, please respond via email to CFSCommissioningSupport@leics.gov.uk by Friday the 14th of February 2020 with the following information:

Places are limited to one delegate per organisation and will be allocated on a "first come first served" basis.

Please note, the Council intends to use the information gathered at the event to inform the development of the procurement solution for Supported Accommodation for Young People (16+) placements. Participating in this exercise will not affect any party positively or negatively during any eventual procurement process and the Council reserve the right not to proceed with any procurement process. Interested parties are further advised that any information given during the market engagement exercise will not form part of an interested party's tender submission and that a failure to respond to this notice will not preclude them from responding to any future contract notice. The Council will not meet any costs incurred by any party in responding to this notice.
