description

The requirement is for a supplier to collect data on the carbon emissions produced by General Aviation (GA) airfields and operations.

The research will aim to provide a preliminary evidence base of carbon emissions in the GA sector, existing infrastructure, future opportunities for decarbonisation and green infrastructure, and the cost of green infrastructure.

This research will be Phase 1 of a two-phase research project. Phase 2 will seek to understand, using data collected in Phase 1, where airfields require the most support, what change and/or implementation can make the most difference, and consider case studies.

This procurement was finalised via the Research Marketplace.
