This is a 'Save the date' notice.
The Royal Navy Develop Directorate will be holding an industry engagement event at Action Stations in Portsmouth Dockyard on 28th January 2022. The event is an introduction for Industry to the new Maritime Operating Concept key themes.This event, hosted by the Royal Navy Develop Directorate, will explain how the Maritime Force will become more distributed in its force structures and operating methods, embedding a System of Systems approach much deeper into our philosophy to increase lethality, utility and resilience.
Attendance will open for registration on January 10th and will be limited to 1 person per organisation. Registration will be advertised in January both on DSP and Contracts Finder, you are also encouraged to sign up for direct notifications about our events via the QR code on the PDF attachment - NAVYCOMRCL-MEPG@mod.gov.uk can also be used to request the link.
For the avoidance of doubt, the industry day shall not constitute any form of pre-qualification exercise. Any formal procurement process will be undertaken in accordance with the relevant Procurement Law. Nothing in the event or any other engagements with Industry prior to a formal procurement process, shall be construed as a representation as to the Authority's ultimate decision in relation to any future requirement.
The event will be subject to the most up to date Covid-19 guidance.
