description
The London Borough of Hackney is currently reviewing it's Telecare services with a view to develop a Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Service that will support vulnerable people and their carers across the Hackney Borough. As part of this work we would like to better understand what opportunities are available from the market for the development and provision of TEC services. We are seeking companies which have experience of successfully delivering any or all of the below TEC services for vulnerable people and their carers.
TEC Equipment Service - a service that is responsible for the supply, installation, maintenance, repair, collection and recycling of TEC equipment that monitors people at home and can raise an alarm in an emergency.
TEC Call Monitoring Service - a 24/7 call monitoring service that is able to monitor analogue and digital TEC devices and operates an effective triage process, organising appropriate support in response to an alarm, by calling listed friends and family members, the TEC response service, community health and social care services or emergency service where required.
TEC Response Service - a local response service with trained staff who work 24 hours a day and can visit people at home to provide necessary support when required.
