Development of child and family social worker employer endorsement guidance as part of the assessment and accreditation system

We require a contractor with the relevant experience and expertise to develop guidance that will enable employers to confidently endorse their child and family social workers as having the appropriate knowledge and skills required to be confident, high quality Frontline Practitioners and Practice Supervisors.

This contract is in the context of the development of the assessment and accreditation system and will provide consistency for employers to endorse their Frontline Practitioners and Practice Supervisors for the assessment.

This contract will need to be performed in two stages:

1. Preparation of the Guidance: The employer endorsement guidance will need to be ready for publication and dissemination by March/April 2016. It will need to have considered and, where suitable, incorporated current employer endorsement practices already undertaken in the sector.

2. Dissemination of the Guidance: A number (to be recommended by the tenderer) of network/ information sharing sessions will be required to take place between April and May 2016.

Additional information: The contract value is up to £150K including VAT.
