The Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking a suitably experienced supplier to support the grant award processes associated with Skills Bootcamps open competition.
The Provider will support the assessment and scoring evaluation of applications processes associated with the commissioning of Suppliers for the Skills Bootcamps Programme. The Skills Bootcamp programme will fund projects supporting Londoners aged 19+ who are full-time or part-time employed, self-employed or unemployed as well as those returning to work after a break by giving them access to in-demand skills training and a guaranteed interview for a more sustainable, higher-skilled job and higher wages over time across priority sectors identified by the central government and the Greater London Authority (Digital, Construction, Green, Logistics, Creative Industries, Hospitality, Health an Social Care/ Life Sciences, Finance and other professional services). The programme will also receive bids regarding Apprenticeships Paths. The Supplier is required to:
| • | Assess the Skills Bootcamps applications from a diverse range of training providers as well as employers |
| • | Score applications against the GLA's published criteria, and moderate individual scores according to the framework developed by the GLA, providing written rationales for both initial individual and moderated final scores. |
| • | Prepare recommendations for providers to be awarded grants, based on moderated final scores |
| • | Prepare appropriate feedback for successful and unsuccessful bidders |
| • | Keep auditable records, with copies to be passed to the GLA on completion. |
The Skills Bootcamps programme is time-critical, delivery for the year 2022/2023, application scoring must be completed in July 2022 to enable the programme to start on 1st September 2022 and completed by 31st March 2023 The tender process will be managed on Transport for London's (TfL) e-tendering portal ProContract.
