NHS England is seeking to procure the provision of Intracranial Stereotactic Radiosurgery & Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRS/SRT) as part of an integrated neurosurgical & neuro-oncology service to patients from 01 April 2016. To be provided in Lots as follows:

  • Lot 1 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the Merseyside & Cheshire Neurosurgical Network
  • Lot 2 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the Greater Manchester, Lancashire & South Cumbria Neurosurgical Networks
  • Lot 3 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the North of England (Northumberland, Tyne & Wear & North Cumbria) Neurosurgical Networks
  • Lot 4 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the East Riding of Yorkshire & South Yorkshire Neurosurgical Networks
  • Lot 5 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the West Yorkshire Neurosurgical Network
  • Lot 6 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the East Midlands (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire & Northamptonshire) Neurosurgical Network
  • Lot 7 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the Pan Birmingham, Arden & Greater Midlands (West Midlands, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire & Staffordshire) Neurosurgical Networks
  • Lot 8 Tier 1 & 2 SRS/SRT Services covering the geography of the Anglia (Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk) Neurosurgical Network

Following receipt of an organisation's expression of interest further information will be provided on how to participate in the tender opportunity. Expressions of interest are required to be submitted by 12:00 on 2nd December 2015.

The Tender consists of a combined Pre Qualification Questionnaire (“PQQ”) and Invitation to Tender (“ITT”).

PQQ responses are required to be submitted by 12:00 on 2nd December 2015. Failure to pass the PQQ requirements will mean that any tender submission will not be considered.

ITT Tenders responses are required to be submitted by 12.00 on 16th December 2015.

NHS England anticipates offering organisations who express an interest the opportunity of attending a Bidder Event on the 13th November 2015. Further information on this Event will be made available to the registered organisations.

It should be note that this is a voluntary notice concerning the procurement of health services and as such is not fully regulated by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (“PCR”). The Contracting Authority will use a procurement process similar to Open Procedure under the PCR but this does not indicate acceptance of the full applicability of the PCR whether in relation to the Open Procedure or more widely.
