GB-UK: The Upgraded Education Programme for New ESCIT Team Recruits - Consultancy Competency

1.There is a need to deliver an upgraded education package for new Equipment Support Continuous Improvement Team (ESCIT) recruits. ESCIT is a DE&S internal consultancy group specialising in Support Systems Engineering.

2.It consists of 2 Delivery Phases, Directed Learning (S1) & Coaching through simulation (S2)

3.The Programme uses Management Consultancy competences below:

a.Client Focus b.Building/Sustaining Relationships c.Applying Expertise/Knowledge d.Achieving Sustainable Results e.Market Capability/Knowledge

4.To enable the necessary upgrade for the programme requires an opportunity to practise hard & soft skills to situational leadership S2 (Coaching & Simulation) standards in a challenging & safe training environment.

5.Delivery Phases require:

i.Directed Learning (S1)

Delivery of a Level 5 directed learning programme accredited with CMI & IC.Suitable assessment of delegates for award of CMI Level 5 Certificate in Professional Consulting (QCF).(CMI Code 5C26. Qual ref number 600/4448/2)

ii.Coaching through simulation (S2)

Delivery of 3 live simulation events:

a.Foundations of Consultative Communication.b.Managing/Influencing the Client Relationship.c.Final Simulation/Skills Practice.

Delivered by suitably qualified & experienced personnel to practise hard & soft skills to situational leadership S2 (Coaching & Simulation) standards in a challenging yet safe training environment.

Formal Observation & individual coaching feedback by suitably qualified & experienced personnel for all delegates covering all Management Consultancy competences.

6.Education package to 9 ESCIT recruits & cater for other client personal loaned for specific tasks.

7.Delivery package to include a programme review activity to confirm the effectiveness of the delivery design.

8.Reviews to be complete 31 Mar 16.

9.E of I's are sought from companies demonstrating previous capability in the delivery of combined S1/S2 training packages. Responses to demonstrate this proven capability. Responses that fail to provide sufficient evidence will not be invited to tender.
