Community Phlebotomy Services for NHS Hillingdon CCG

NHS Hillingdon CCG is currently reviewing Community Phlebotomy Services across the borough. Our initial focus is to invite interested providers to share how they might approach implementing a service that would be available for both adults and children.

We are particularly interested in hearing from providers who are able to offer the entire service including: Phlebotomy, transport and Pathology blood test. We hope that your responses will help us to determine our route to market and the level of interest within the market will indicate whether it would be appropriate for us to invite bids via competitive tenders.

A draft Memorandum of Information (MoI), and an engagement questionnaire has also been developed to capture input from providers to help inform the CCG’s key decisions around this service.

Note: An expression of interest is no indication of a commitment to participate in any subsequent procurement process, nor does it infer any special status on those providers who do submit an interest. Neither will this notice or any organisation’s expression of interest commit the CCG to undertake any procurement of a Community Phlebotomy service & the CCG has a right to withdraw the notice.

Providers are invited to express their interest in the early engagement via emailing the completed questionnaire to greg_reide@nhs.net. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS is 5pm on 11 August 2016.
