School Flu Vaccination Programme - Insight & Recommendations

Sandwell Public Health are looking to commission a piece of insight work into understanding the barriers and challenges to achieving high uptake of the flu vaccine in specific schools in Sandwell. The successful bidder will be expected to:

• Gain insight with the following groups using qualitative research methods:
• Group 1: Three Sandwell schools which have low return of consent forms

-Group 2: Three Sandwell school which have high rate of refusals for flu vaccine

• Group 3: Three Sandwell schools which have high uptake of flu vaccine programme
• Report on research findings including recommendations for tools to increase uptake with each group.
• Market testing of tools with each group
• Report on findings from market testing.
