Provision of an Online Counselling Service for Children & Young People in Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), East Leicestershire & Rutland CCG and West Leicestershire CCG (referred to as the Commissioner(s)) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the Service(s).

Promoting the emotional wellbeing of young people and preventing the development of mental health problems among young people Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland is a shared priority of the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland 'Future in Mind' Steering Group. Online counselling is a preventative approach that will help resolve many underlying issues that would otherwise have progressed into more severe mental health problems.

The aim of the service is to provide support to young people with emotional or mental health concerns. The service will integrate and work collaboratively with existing and planned services providing support in Leicester City, Leicestershire and Rutland.

It is the intention of the Commissioners to enter into a 3 year contract.

This service will be commissioned via an open procurement process, advertised to all which is proportionate to the value and complexity of the service and contract. The ITT will be live on the 6th March 2017 on the Arden GEM CSU e-tendering procurement portal (Bravo). All submissions will be evaluated using the scoring criteria which is contained within the ITT Instructions - Document 1. Clarifications may be asked during the procurement process, the deadline for ITT clarification questions is 5pm on 29th March 2017.

The deadline for receipt of bid submissions is 5pm 5th April 2017.
