The National Army Museum (NAM) is undergoing a major refurbishment project which will see a radical transformation and is due to re-open in early 2017. The Museum will require an initial security presence at the Chelsea site from mid October 2016. Once reopened the Museum will require between 8 and 10 persons per day.The Museum operates on the Chelsea site and at Stevenage. Both sites will require security staff onsite 24/7. A security contractor is required to provide an effective and efficient uniformed manned guarding service on a continuous basis.The service includes, but is not confined to:Control Room manning, alarm and CCTV monitoringProvision of staff for static and mobile postsAccess control including public entrance duties and car parkingReceipt of goodsEmergency and evacuation dutiesProduction of reports and documentationOther duties that may be mutually agreed from time to time
