Open Spaces Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)

The DPS will be divided into appropriate lots of work. Each contract will involve the landscape Supplier acting as Main Supplier for the purpose of complying with the CDM Regulations 2015 where applicable.

There will be an initial setup Phase of the DPS, inviting Suppliers to participate. Suppliers admitted onto the DPS will be offered opportunities to tender for individual contracts in the form of further competitions throughout the term of the DPS.

Suppliers are only entitled to participate in further competitions under the DPS after they have been both formally notified that they are successful and their name has been added to the DPS Supplier list.

As part of the further competition Suppliers will be provided with the specification and they can submit a bid which they are able to fulfil to the full specification, and to the Conditions of Contract.

The DPS will be administered via the electronic tendering system The Chest www.the-chest.org.uk Documents submitted in any other way will not be considered.

Quantities of Contracts advertised within this DPS cannot be guaranteed.

Lot 1 - Landscape Soft works, trees and shrub planting, including forestry planting Band A - Below £250,000

Band B - Above £250,000

Lot 2 - Hard works including drainage, surfacing, special surfaces, walling and fencing Band A - Below £250,000

Band B - Above £250,000

Lot 3 - Earthworks and work to contaminated land Band A - Below £250,000

Band B - Above £250,000

Lot 4 - Installation of street furniture, specialist play and sports equipment Band A - Below £250,000

Band B - Above £250,000

Lot 5 - Specialist drainage works and sports pitch improvements Band A - Below £250,000

Band B - Above £250,000

Lot 6 - Aftercare and establishment management Band A - Below £250,000

Band B - Above £250,000

Lot 7 - Arboricultural works Band A - Below £250,000 Band B - Above £250,000

Lot 8 - The management of water courses, desilting and aquatic weed control Lot 9 - External Signage

Supply, or supply and install of external signage, plinths or mounts to BS 559:2009 or equivalent.
