description
The Council wishes to procure a legal case management system which will include the appropriate functionality to assist with streamlining a range of processes whilst being flexible enough to cater for future changes in processes and to meet legislative changes.
The System must be able to provide a secure:
- oConsolidated view of cases and associated data and paperwork
- oOverview on the position of a case
- oIntegrated time recording function
- oDiary and email functionality that integrates with MS Outlook
- oSuite of workflow templates that can be tailored by the Legal Department
- oAutomatic setting of next process dates and reminder handling
- oTracking of all correspondence (inc emails and scanned images)
- oAlert mechanisms for notification and escalation
- oCentralised contacts suite that links contacts to cases and documents
- oAudit trail of user activity within the application
- oFully integrated document bundling component (inc capability to meet requirements of Family Procedure Rules Practice Direction 27A)
- oCentralised bank of templates and precedents that can be uploaded and maintained by Legal Services
- oSuite of reports designed to support a local authority in house legal department (to include reports by client, by matter, by activity, by date, by lawyer)
- oWeb portal that allows client departments to check the status of a case being managed by Legal Services
