The design, installation, test and commission the new heating system, which is to include the removal and replacement of 2 No. gas fired boilers and controls together with the design, supply, installation, test and commission of a new hot water supply and return systems including gas fired water heaters, and booster pumps.

Sport Pavilion - replacement heating and hot water system:

• Sampling and analysis of water quality for heating water systems.
• Sampling and analysis of water quality for hot and cold-water systems.
• Validation of heating water flow rates within the plantroom.
• Removal of the existing heating boilers, flues and associated pipework etc.
• Survey the existing heating, hot and cold-water services throughout the building.
• To specify, supply and install, test and commission low NOx new high efficiency condensing heating boilers, pipework etc within the plantroom. These are to be suitable for operation on natural gas. Connection to existing/modified pipework circuits within the plant room.
• To specify, supply and install test and commission new heating pumps as required.
• Removal of existing gas fired water heaters, flues and associated pipework.
• To specify new gas fired water heaters where shown on the contract drawings. These are to be suitable for operation on natural gas. Connection to existing/modified pipework circuits.
• To carry out works in accordance with the current health and safety regulations.
• To supply and install ancillary equipment e.g. dosing pot, low loss header and heat exchanger.
• To design, supply and install a new flue system(s) from the boilers and water heaters to manufactures recommendations. To include condensate drainage systems.
• To size/modify the existing gas supply pipework to serve the new boilers and gas fired water heaters. To include provision of gas shut off systems.
• Provision of new gas meter enclosure, 1 Hour fire rated with ventilation openings to atmosphere.
• To design, supply, install test and commission power and control wiring to the new boilers and hot water heaters including electrical isolators. To include modifications to existing power and control wiring and surveys of the existing.
• Detailed inspection, testing and commissioning of existing motor control panel including report.
• To design, supply, install and test the new pipework systems in connection with new heating boilers and gas fired water heaters. The installation shall include pipework brackets, spring hangers, insulation, valves and fittings to provide a complete system.
• To design, supply and install new hot and cold-water supplies to showers and sanitary fittings including the provision of booster pumps.
• To provide operation and maintenance manuals for the new heating and hot water systems.
• To provide design/working drawings and record drawings for the new installation.
• Carry out builderswork associated with the services installation including making good.
• Chlorination of hot and cold-water services.
• Testing and commissioning the systems.
