Outdoor Gym and Activity area with Street Snooker™ Multi Use Games Wall (MUGA) for Stangrove Park, Edenbridge

To create a modern, inclusive and exciting outside gym and fitness area incorporating a Street Snooker™ multi-use games activity wall. The facilities will provide a much-needed alternative for families in Edenbridge where currently there is no outdoor gym or multi-games area. This facility would be unique in Kent.

The outdoor gym equipment should cover a range of fitness components, provide variety and suitable for different age groups and physical abilities.

1. Cardio / aerobic endurance (e.g. bike, cross trainer)
2. Muscular strength and endurance (e.g. leg press, leg raise, sit-up bench, chest press)
3. Cross fitness (e.g. cycling, obstacles/jumping/hurdles)
4. Low impact fitness designed for all physical abilities - to encourage flexibility, strength, coordination (e.g. walker, steps, and twister).

The project will include providing suitable surfaces, signage and fencing.

The project is hoped to be completed by end of 2020; the installation dates quoted in this notice, are a guide as to when it may be viable to start the work.

Each tendering firm will be supplied with a specifically marked envelope in which the tender is to be sealed, and will remain sealed until 12 noon the day after the closing date. Electronic submissions will not be accepted.
