description

Highways England are currently engaging their supply chain to undertake the development of an interim drone governance policy in order for their supply chain to continue to operate drones safely in and around their network. In order for this work to develop a sufficient GG104 Highways England need to commission a specialist consultant to undertake a hazard identification study for operating drones on and adjacent to the strategic road network which also needs to include the various construction and maintenance site types. This is a requisite support task to SPaTS 1-991 Highways England Drone Operating Policy and Standards currently being delivered by SES.
