The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for supply to the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe in Rotherham.

Use and Description

The objective is to purchase a portable PA acquisition unit and the relevant probes and scanners to carry out inspection austenitic welds using dual matrix array probes.

Specification of Requirement:

The acquisition unit should be able to drive 128 Elements with support for 32 Active pulsers/32 receivers at anyone time for PA and be capable of collection data for a pair of TOFD probes simultaneously. Tenderers submission should also include the supply of probes and wedges below for PA testing of welds.
