Refurbishment of Skipton House, London - 3rd Floor, Phase 1

Phase 1 refurbishment works will be undertaken to the 3rd floor (area C) of Skipton House, 80 London Road, London SE1 6LH.

Skipton House comprises of a six storey multi occupied office building within a busy part of the City and is directly adjacent to the Elephant and Castle (Bakerloo Line) Underground Station. All floors will remain in normal operation throughout the course of the works and require minimal disruption to other users.

This tender is for the Phase 1 works only and the information relating to Phase 2 in the Schedule of Works is for information purposes only.

THE WORKS:

The works comprise of refurbishment of area C of the 3rd floor (Phase 1):

• Removal of existing partitions
• Erection of new partition layout
• Installation of new doors
• Formation of new WC and kitchen facilities
• Existing electrical floor box and lighting controls adapted, modified, extended to suit the new layout .

SITE VISIT

A site visit is a mandatory part of the tender process.

• Assessment: Ascertain the nature of the site, access thereto and all local conditions and restrictions likely to affect the execution of the Works. Site visits will be held on Tuesday 27th October.
