The SCIMITAR programme will include the following activities:
- Stimulating engagement, knowledge sharing and collaboration between UK and Indian organisations in the critical minerals sector, using a combination of questionnaires, workshops, webinars, and on-site visits to understand the needs of the sector.
- Mapping UK and India capabilities in critical minerals technology innovation and building UK-India innovation networks, using the strengths of relevant UK RTOs and Indian network partners.
- Delivery of an innovation sprint programme, funding UK organisations to explore potential solutions to address critical minerals challenges identified by Indian organisations.
- Dissemination of the programme outputs to a wider community, using a combination of meeting/event reports, case studies, technology reports, business, and social media.
Key project outputs will include:
