City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) are delivering new build council housing residential development across three sites within Wolverhampton; Ettingshall Road, Showell Circus, and Villiers Avenue.
The Council's aspiration is to deliver good quality, highly energy efficient and cost-effective housing across all three sites, within the agreed budget of circa. £6.6 million. The Ettingshall Road development is expected to deliver a minimum of 10 two-bedroom dwellings and 2 four-bedroom dwellings. The Showell Circus development is expected to deliver a minimum of 11 two-bedroom dwellings and the development at Villiers Avenue a minimum of 12 two-bedroom dwellings. In total, it is anticipated that a minimum of 35 dwellings be delivered across the three sites. All properties built as part of these developments must meet the principles as set out in the Government's pending Future Homes Standard.
This contract seeks to appoint an Employer's Agent who will provide services for the housing schemes at Ettingshall Road, Showell Circus and Villiers Avenue. The Employer's Agent will progress the schemes from feasibility stage through to the completion of the defects period. The appointed Employer's Agent will also be expected to support the client with the tender documentation process for the appointment of the main contractor for the project.
