Halton Borough Council seeks expressions of interest from suitably experienced contractors wishing to be considered for tendering for the work as outlined below. Budget estimate £2,100,000 Fairfield Primary school consists of both an infant and Junior building separated by a playing field as such the proposed works are to enable the 2 buildings to function more coherently as one school. The works to the infant building consist of a new entrance/administration area, new toilets, practical room and car park. The junior building will have an extension to the main hall area together with further works to extend 4 classrooms, and refurbish the library area. Both buildings will also have some general maintenance works included.Externally an all-weather pitch will be provided together with a covered walkway to link the 2 buildings together. In order to facilitate the works, a temporary mobile village will need to be created in order to house the junior school whilst the works are undertaken. The deadline for questions relating to the Pre Qualification Questionnaire is 10.00am on Tuesday 20th October 2015. The deadline for submission is 10.00am on Friday 23rd October 2015.
