Dear Providers,
We are undertaking a brief survey to inform Lambeth council's Home Care procurement next steps - please see link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/69KTTT6
Please could you submit your response before 2pm on the 18th of September 2020.
Lambeth Council are planning to tender their home care services at the end of October/ early November 2020. The Council will be introducing a neighbourhood model with ten localities. The localities will be aligned with neighbourhood nursing and primary care networks and contracts will be awarded for a specific locality. The tender will be a two stage, restricted tender. The Invitation to Tender will be assessed on 100% quality. There will be no price evaluation, as a set rate prescribed by the Council will apply to all providers. The set rate has been developed in line with the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services ( ADASS) price modelling principles.
The procurement was originally intended to be published around March/April but was postponed to enable the Council and the provider market to focus on the management of Covid-19 implications in the critical early stages. As we have observed providers successfully managing Covid-19 considerations and ensuring continuity of care, we have decided to recommence the procurement process. In recognition of the ongoing impact of Covid-19 and winter pressures, we will incorporate deadlines that are longer than the minimum tender requirements, with approximately seven weeks to complete the Standard Selection Questionnaire and a further seven week deadline for providers invited to tender (ITT).
I would appreciate if you could respond to the two key questions on survey monkey about the planned procurement date and the inclusion of a fixed rate, please see link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/69KTTT6
If you have any difficulties with survey monkey please contact Carole Ferguson - cferguson@lambeth.gov.uk
