The Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking to award a framework agreement for the following 2 Lots:

  • a)LOT 1 - Mayor's Academies Programme (MAP) Quality Mark, 1 Provider, Maximum term 4 years consisting of two (2) years with an option to extend for a further 2 years

The Provider to manage and deliver the Academies Quality Mark which is an annual accreditation awarded to training providers in London who offer high-quality industry-relevant training provision in seven priority sectors which is currently managed in house.

Delivery of the service will include:

Assessment of QM applications from a diverse range of training providers across the Mayor's priority sectors (Digital, Creative, Health, Social care, Green, Construction and Hospitality)
Scoring applications based on GLA criteria and evidence submitted
Making recommendations for training providers who should be awarded the Quality Mark
Undertaking annual inspections of accredited training providers to ensure quality is maintained
  • b)Lot 2 European Social Fund (ESF) Academies Scoring, 1 Provider, Maximum Term 6 months consisting of four (4) months with an option to extend for a further 2 months.

The Provider to support the grant award processes associated with ESF Academies Programme, which aims to fund projects supporting unemployed and economically inactive Londoners into further training and employment in the across the Mayor's priority sectors (Digital, Creative, Green, Hospitality, and Health and Social Care); specifically, the Supplier should:

Assess the ESF Academies applications from a diverse range of training employment support providers
Score applications against the GLA's published criteria, and moderate initial individual scores, providing written rationales for both initial individual and moderated final scores
Prepare recommendations for providers to be awarded grants, based on moderated final scores
Prepare appropriate feedback for successful and unsuccessful bidders
Keep auditable records, with copies to be passed to the GLA on completion.

Initial anticipated Start date for Lot 2 is March 2022.

One provider is sough per lot and Suppliers can apply for one or both lots.
