New Street Market Opportunities in Cosham, Portsmouth

Portsmouth City Council, 'the Authority', is inviting tenders for the provision of new unique and individual markets in Cosham from March/ April 2018 to enhance the market offer for Portsmouth residents, visitors and shoppers.

The Authority is interested in utilising the excellent pedestrianised precinct in Cosham for a new market or markets and is seeking to launch a variety of offers in the area via this tender process. All days of the week are available except for Monday and Easter Sunday, however bank holiday Mondays are available.

The Authority is targeting to have awarded contracts by 20th February 2018. Contracts will be let on a 2 year pilot basis which could then be extended in increments to be agreed to a maximum total term of 10 years.

The contract/s will take the form of service concession which will require payment to the Authority from the successful Operator/s.
