description
The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) is responsible for developing National Curriculum tests on behalf of the Department for Education (DfE). STA has a statutory responsibility to ensure as many pupils as possible are able to access the tests, and as such modified versions are provided upon request to assist visually impaired and hearing impaired children.
STA requires the new tests for the 2016 cycle of National Curriculum Tests at key stage 1 and key stage 2 to be modified. STA also requires a helpline support service be available to schools.
