description

This qualitative research project seeks to better understand the current experience of self-employed taxpayers in dealing with their tax affairs. Some of this population have multiple employments and/or sources of income. The research will examine how they work, the role that tax plays in their decision making and the challenges that they face around tax processes. This will enable HMRC to develop the most effective strategic approaches that meet both the needs of the customer and HMRC.
