Blackpool Council has invited and evaluated quotations from suitably qualified and experienced planning consultants to:
| (i) | undertake a retail capacity study for Blackpool to establish current provision and future needs; |
| (ii) | to advise on introducing a local retail threshold for retail impact assessment and if appropriate the level of such a threshold; |
| (iii) | to undertake a commercial leisure facilities (Use Class D2) assessment for Blackpool to establish current provision and future needs; and |
| (iv) | to undertake a hotel needs assessment to establish the hotel capacity and need for 3, 4, and 5 star hotels in Blackpool. |
