The business is currently undertaking a programme of improvements to variable speed limits (VSLs) on the strategic road network, to improve the appropriateness of mandatory and advisory VSLs based on safety and customer insight.

As part of the VSLs programme and based on key recommended improvements from the comprehensive review of VSLs, this project will provide consultant support for:

Support the analysis of regional trial data and outcome / recommendations report.
Support the development of processes and reporting mechanisms for national roll out of trial.
Support for national roll out of trial.
