description

Arts Council England, in the discharge of its duty to distribute public funding for the purpose of promoting the arts in England, intends to appoint to the Framework Agreement a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 appropriately qualified service providers to work with its Investment team and to deliver construction advice to support Arts Council England’s assessment, decision making and monitoring of its capital investment. The scope of the Framework includes supporting the assessment and monitoring of our funded projects from detailed design stages through to completion to ensure that public funding is used only for grant funding purposes. Suitably qualified service providers appointed to a Framework Agreement will provide services to Arts Council England on a call off basis during the period of end of 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2019.

The initial term of the Framework is estimated to be 3 (three) years.

It is not possible to predict the value of work that may be awarded under the Framework Agreement with certainty but it is expected to be no more than £350,000 per year excluding VAT and including expenses.

Arts Council England reserves the right to extend the initial term and instruct the successful contractors appointed to the Framework to provide additional similar services for a further period of 12 months. The total maximum value of the spend under the Framework Agreement over a further year is estimated to be a further £350,000 excluding VAT and including expenses. The fees and rates submitted by a bidder in its tender response for the initial three year period shall apply during the extended period if the Framework Agreement is extended.

Arts Council England makes no guarantees as to the quantity of services it may order during the Framework Agreement term. We will place orders for services under this Framework Agreement from the appointed service providers at its discretion as and when the need arises.
