description

Replacement of Liquid handling Robot - Our current robot is now unsupported by the manufacturer due the instrument's age. This robot is critical for the genetics work on common human dis-ease. It is the key piece of laboratory equipment that supports the research of the teams of Profs Frayling and Weedon and Drs Murray and Freathy, and many projects linked to the Precision Medicine theme including the work of Dr Ahmad (inflammatory bowel disease) and the development of diabetes risk scores (Hattersley, Oram).
