*NHS Croydon CCG are holding a Market Engagement Event on 20 October 2017 between 14:00 - 16:00hrs at the following address:

NHS Croydon Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCCG) is looking to engage with appropriately qualified and experienced providers to express their interest to inform the design of Intermediate Care Bed Service for Croydon residents for the provision of a range of 'step- up' and 'step down' beds through joint working with social Services to ensure that Service User's physical, mental and social wellbeing needs are met and avoid acute hospital admission where it is appropriate to do so.
The Croydon vision for the Intermediate Care Bed service will support:
- The delivery of responsive rehabilitation services to people who would otherwise face unnecessarily prolonged hospital stays or inappropriate admission to acute inpatient care or long term residential care
- Professional working with a single assessment framework, single professional records, shared protocols and shared care with the aim of care planning documented and agreed with the service user or carer.
The aim of this early market engagement exercise is also to gauge potential interest in this contract opportunity and field for innovative proposals to improve the current drafted service specification (attached).
Feedback received will assist to determine the procurement strategy including whether a competitive procurement process is appropriate.
The expected contract value will be for maximum value of £2,857,400 in total, for approximately 3 years plus a possible extension of up to 2 further years.
Expressions of interest are now invited by way of completion and return of the attached Market Engagement Questionnaire by 5pm, 20th October 2017.
Additional information: Participation in the engagement exercise is not a mandatory requirement for participating in any potential future procurement; however, responses received will assist to inform the Commissioner as to the level of interest from the market and will be used to evidence a decision as to whether or not to undertake a competitive procurement.
