Primary Care Psychological Therapies (PCPT) Services

The Primary Care Psychological Therapies (PCPT) service will be a community based service, building firmly on the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme (http://www.iapt.nhs.uk/).

It will offer a range of evidence based psychological interventions including NICE approved/recommended psychological therapies in line with relevant clinical guidance; associated with improved service user outcomes and recovery rates.

The Primary Care Psychological Therapies service will deliver a Step 2, Step 3 and ‘Step 3 Plus’ model where time limited, psychological therapies is likely to have a positive outcome for the individual.

The Derbyshire, Nottingham City and Nottingham County CCGs are holding a bidder event on Friday 16th October from 10:00 to 12:00. Please note the Commissioners welcome expressions of interest from all provider types including but not limited to consortia.

The services to which this notice relates fall within Part B of Schedule 3, Part 10 of the Public Services Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) ('the Regulations'). Neither the publication of this notice nor the employment of any particular terminology nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the contracting authorities intend to hold themselves bound by any of the Regulations save those applicable to the procurement of Part B services.
