Checkpoint Disc and Media Encryption Support and Maintenance

Essex County Council (ECC) is seeking a Supplier to support and maintain its Disk and Media encryption service for a one year period with an option to extend by up to a further one year.

ECC uses a mix of Desktop Computers, Laptops and Tablets. All devices require media encryption solutions. All laptops and tablets require full hard disk encryption.

A hardware refresh programme has been completed. A second phase to refresh our remaining HP computers with Dell replacements is underway.

The refresh programme resulted in an estate of approximately 9,150 devices, 6,628 of which are notebooks (including laptops, tablets and other mobile devices).

Support and Maintenance is required for the entire estate as follows:

• 3,000 Total Endpoint Security perpetual licences
• 3,000 Media Encryption/Port Protection perpetual licences
• 3,628 Total Endpoint Security annual subscription licences
• 9,000 Containers
