description
The Science Museum Group wishes to appoint a Supplier to provide audience research consultancy in order to deliver the Medicine: The Wellcome Galleries Open for All research project. The supplier will use equitable evaluation practices to work with the Museum and Community Leaders to audit to what extent the Medicine Galleries are Open for All.
SMG wishes to appoint a consultant with expertise in equitable evaluation practices and/or working with community groups to plan and facilitate an audit exploring to what extent Medicine: the Wellcome Galleries are 'Open for All' and disseminate the findings. The findings of the audit will be used to inform future 'Open for All' work at SMG to ensure our galleries are as inclusive as possible. It will also be used to support training at SMG, particularly to support colleagues in learning around social justice, exclusion and equitable practice The audit will involve and be shaped by Community Leaders who will work in collaboration with the consultant and Museum team throughout the project. Their role will involve refining the focuses of the audit and film created to disseminate the results. The Community Leaders taking part in the project will represent people who do not usually visit the Science Museum or other informal science learning environments.
