description

  1. Highways England is an asset rich organisation with significant investment in creating, maintaining and operating our infrastructure assets to enable safe and reliable journeys for our customers. We have a long-term vision for developing and improving our approach to asset management. In summer 2017 we developed an Informed Asset Management Plan (IAMP) that describes Highways England's overall approach for end-to-end asset management. The objective of the Plan was to assist in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of Highways England's three imperatives of Safety, Customer Service and Delivery through asset management. The IAMP has been a critical tool in communicating our vision, working on our priorities and building our asset management capability.
