Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) have identified a need to revise the current process and mechanisms for recording and monitoring learning and performance, inclusive of appraisal process, for all staff.

LFRS wishes to move to a software solution that provides for internal control over processing (processing includes the capture, recording, storage, manipulation, maintenance, sharing and destruction of data) of competency recording and maintenance, Performance Review (Appraisal), Learning and Development (Inclusive of the ability for end-users to access learning content within the LMS) data from a user friendly, integrated solution. This will also provide better resilience and business continuity for LFRS. The supplier will confirm that all data gathered and/or otherwise generated by the system will remain the property of LFRS. This data will be shared with other LFRS and external systems in line with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

It is vital that LFRS is able to secure the software and services of a credible supplier who has pedigree, track record and a highly professional approach to deliver these services and enable LFRS to meet its goals and business needs.
