Stkeholder Relationship Audit

The overall objectives of the project are:

Gain an in-depth understanding of our existing relationship with key stakeholders - Defra, EA, DWI, Welsh Govt, NRW, WUK, CCW, water companies, water retailers Build a big-picture understanding of all other stakeholders

Understand the gaps and areas for improvement amongst priority groups - consumer, Welsh and political

Look for and discover gaps in our stakeholder relationships that we aren't currently aware of

Finish the project with an analysed set of data and recommendations that can be used to shift approach in stakeholder relationships across Ofwat Scope of Work

The scope of the project includes:

Collaborating with the Ofwat stakeholder lead

Agree a delivery timetable once contract is agreed

Work to Ofwat templates and guidelines

Work to GDPR guidelines

A swift turnaround and for start of delivery and completed reports from contract award. Project start within three weeks, final report and recommendations before March 2020 Full project management and delivery of the project

A final product with data analysis, reporting and recommendations

Out of scope:

The Ofwat communications function will provide all appropriate internal data and information held about stakeholders

Key Tasks

In order to achieve the overall objectives, the Customer expects that the following key tasks will be carried out by the Contractor A full project delivery plan

Review of existing relationships and engagement with internal colleagues at Ofwat in communications

In-depth interviews with some key stakeholders - Defra, EA, DWI, Welsh Govt, NRW, WUK, CCW, water companies, water retailers Quantitative survey amongst broader group of stakeholders

Research into stakeholder areas that we may be missing

Evaluation - a summary document or meeting outlining findings with recommendations
