Provision of Facilities Management Services, Mechanical and Electrical.

Northumberland National Park Authority are currently out to tender for the provision of Facilities Management Services, Mechanical and Electrical.

The Authority is the owner of The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre. The building is owned and managed by the Authority with areas sublet to the YHA (86 bed hostel), and catering franchise (90 covers). The building is open 364 days of the year as a youth hostel and visitor centre, so continuous services will need to be provided.

It is of modern construction with a complex mechanical and electrical system to aid the efficient running of the building.

The Authority is looking to agree a contract with the right Company to manage the servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment for three years. In doing so, the Company will ensure statutory compliance on behalf of the Authority, monitor remedial works, liaise with 3rd parties over contractual issues throughout.

The deadline for submissions of the tender will be noon on the 28th June 2019.
