description
This request for quotation from Forest of Dean District Council is seeking to implement a landscaping scheme as part of a wider project to improve facilities as Lydney Harbour. The scope of work includes:
- oAgree contract area and secure site.
- oClearance of existing vegetation, take up existing turf and excavate formation levels.
- oConstruct reclaimed stone sett edging and paving.
- oInstall Gridforce 'Mini-Ex' geogrid filled with gravel.
- oPrepare shrub beds including supplying of imported topsoil and compost.
- oSupply and plant - shrub stock.
- oExcavate individual shrub pits and tree pit including backfill of topsoil and compost.
- oSupply and plant 1no tree.
- oExternal works associated with building refurbishment:
- oPainting of metal palisade fence
- oMake good soil and turfing (used retained turves) at interface between existing grass area and newly installed stone edging.
