description
Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AG CSU), on behalf of the NHS England - Regional Specialised Commissioning Team (Midlands) (here onwards known as the commissioner) would like to notify all potential bidders about a 'Market Engagement Event' which has been planned to take place on Wednesday 12th February 2020.
This event has been arranged to provide information about the upcoming procurement of Specialised Critical Care Ambulance Transport Services (non-999) for the East Midlands Region.
It will be a facilitated and interactive market engagement event targeted at both bidders' operational as well as management staff. The aim of the event will be to explain the service that is being tendered, requirements for the region and activity levels; an overview of the procurement process itself including timescales will also be provided. The event will provide an opportunity for exchange of information and contacts between the parties interested in bidding for the tender.
In addition, at the event the commissioners would like to learn from the participating bidding organisations how they propose to cater various requirements of the tendered services. To serve this purpose the commissioners may use scenario-based questions or survey questionnaire on the day. With this in mind, the bidders are highly encouraged to bring their operational as well as management staff on the day.
