Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council (the ‘Council’) wishes to enter into a contract for its Material Processing Treatment & Disposal Contract (the ‘Contract’). The contract scope comprises of the following lots:
Lot 1 – Street Sweeping and Gully Waste
Lot 2 – Wood
Lot 3 – Soil and Rubble
Lot 4a – Garden Waste (from household collections)
Lot 4b – Garden Waste (from HWRC and grounds maintenance)
Lot 5 – Mixed Municipal and Domestic Waste
Lot 6 – Ceramics
Lot 7 – Plasterboard
Lot 8 – Carpet
Lot 9 - Mattresses.
Bidders may bid for one Lot or any number or combination of Lots.
The main objective of the Contract is to provide an efficient and effective service with a strong emphasis on value for money and maximising recycling wherever possible.
