GB-Bellingham: Fencing Materials for The North Region

We will be awarding a framework agreement for the supply and delivery of wooden fencing materials across North England Forest District. All materials supplied will be suitable for the protection of the National Forest Estate from damage caused by grazing herbivores and will also protect local flora and fauna.

This framework will run for 4 Years on a 2+1+1 basis. Prices will be reviewed at the end of the second year (January 2020) then annually.

The total value of this framework agreement over the entire period, including any extension options (if detailed above), will be in the region of £130000.00 (One Hundred Thirty Thousand Pounds.)

The Framework Agreement will be split into Four geographic lots.

For ALL lots two suppliers will be awarded this framework agreement for each lot according to their tender score. When materials are required the supplier with the highest score will be contacted by the Contract Manager and expected to undertake the supply in accordance with the prices, delivery times and specifications agreed under this framework. Should the contractor with the highest score be unable to undertake the supply, for example, due to other commitments, the supplier with the second highest score will be contacted and so on.

On occasion there may be a requirement for bespoke/non standard items and the FC recognises that extended lead times may apply. These will be sourced via mini competition.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
