Provision of a Breast Cancer Screening Communication Service on behalf of RM Partners

Invitations are now invited from suitably experienced and capable providers to deliver the provision of a Breast Cancer Screening Communication Service.

For the past two years RM Partners have run a number of projects designed to improve screening uptake for National Cancer Screening Programmes. These projects have mainly focused on contacting patients to talk about screening and to encourage participation in the programme as well as increasing access to screening appointments.

A new area for RM Partners to focus on is in Breast screening. RM Partners, on behalf of NW and SW London CCGs, are seeking to procure an external supplier who will telephone people who have temporarily opted out of the breast screening service for various reasons, but are not invited back for screening until the next round three years later. It is envisaged that the suitable Provider will work with the Breast Screening Hub to identify those patients who have temporarily opted out of breast screening and call them from their registered GP practice to offer the opportunity to opt back into screening.
