English Heritage Members'& Visitors' Handbook

Background information

The English Heritage Members' & Visitors' Handbook is the flagship publication, and is one of the key benefits of membership. Included with the purchase of membership, it features details of all properties within the English Heritage portfolio and is reviewed annually.

From 2020/21 it will also need to include the Members' parking pass (currently an 80mm circle, kiss cut onto a 90mmx90mm square made of Clear Self Cling), affixed to the inside front cover. Part of the brief is to suggest how the pass can be inserted so as to support the design but also be easily removable. This is also being discussed with the printers on our preferred supplier framework, as the print is managed separately by English Heritage - in conjunction with the design agency - under a separate framework agreement.

The total print run will be approximately 700,000 in the first year, with an incremental increase YOY of around 4%. Although the print will be purchased and managed by English Heritage, the designer will be required to attend and assist with press passing at the selected printer
