The Contractor will research and develop a set of national standards for adult digital skills from entry level 1 - level 2, that:
| - | are based upon the basic digital skills in the 'Get Digital' basic skills framework. The Tech Partnership in conjunction with Lloyds Bank are currently updating this framework. |
| - | ensure an inclusive and balanced engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including employers, practitioners, subject specialists and digital inclusion charities and organisations. |
| - | have strong employer and sector buy-in, including digital stakeholders and learner representatives. |
| - | build upon existing national standards. |
| - | allow qualifications built upon standards to align with the Regulated Qualification Framework. |
| - | provide a solid foundation for awarding organisations to develop the next generation of basic digital skills qualifications. |
| - | reflect any required changes to the standards identified through the Department's Consultation. |
