Tenders are sought from organisations that have experience of providing befriending or similar services to vulnerable groups. The service provision will:
| • | Recruit, train and support a team of volunteer Independent Visitors from diverse backgrounds. |
| • | Successfully promote the service to encourage the referral of the most vulnerable children to the service including those with complex needs and vulnerabilities. |
| • | Implement a safe and age appropriate linking process to ensure best match for children and Independent Visitors |
| • | Contribute to children achieving positive outcomes |
| • | Ensure that children are safeguarded at all times. |
| • | Comply with performance and finance monitoring requirements. |
| • | Ensure that there are effective mechanisms for children to comment on and contribute to the design and delivery of the service. |
| • | Work in partnership with key stakeholders. |
