description

A supplier is required to undertake development work on the DVLAs central vehicles management system.

The work includes technical analysis, low level design, production and unit testing of code using CA GEN.

The work will entail UNIX scripting for data extraction and data management as well as working with complex batch scheduling systems.

The specialist will be allocated to specific projects including, but not be limited to, changes to the calculation and collection of vehicles excise duty (VED) and also making other technical changes in accordance with business requirements and technical solutions. The requirements and technical solutions will be supported by DVLA's business analysts and technical architects.
