description

The subsequent Specific Project Contract(s) Works will be carried out in any area within the Sheffield City Council boundaries. The Council reserves the right to not use the Framework, should it so wish, to procure a particular Specific Project Contract(s) but to use a one off Tender process. Contractors should note that the Council currently has two other long term Contracts, Housing Demolition Programme 2014 / 2018 and Emergency Works (Stand-by Term Contract 2015 / 2018) which will run concurrently with this Framework and may be used to procure particular Specific Project Contract(s) subject to the nature of the Works. The purpose of the Agreement is to enable the Council to Tender Specific Project Contracts via the Framework. The maximum value of these Contracts will be £500,000.00, though it is anticipated that generally the value will be £50,000.00 to £150,000.00. It is expected that over the four years Term of this Agreement, currently proposed to commence on 30th November 2015, the total value of the Specific Project Contracts will be £1,000,000.00. Note: The Council does not guarantee that the above figures will be achieved or that any Specific Project Contracts will be Tendered via the Framework during its' Term. As and when the Council has a building; ranging from traditional masonry buildings to steel and concrete framed structures, from residential to institutional, commercial and industrial; that it wishes to demolish, a Specific Project Contract Document will be produced for Tender purposes. The proposed format of the Document will be as shown in Annex B - Example Of Specific Project Contract Tender Documents hereinafter, based on the JCT Standard Form of Minor Works Building Contract 2011 Edition incorporating Sheffield City Council's Standard Amendments. Note: The Council does not guarantee that any / all Contractors will have the opportunity to Tender during the Term of the Framework.
