description

The MOD conducts in house driving licence acquisition through Defence Licencing and Testing Authority (DELTA) which are licenced to operate by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). DVSA has been using a company called Pearson Vue to deliver theory testing for many years and informed the MOD, on 17 Sep 2020, that it was taking this in house from 19 Mar 2021. In order to continue to conduct in house testing there is a requirement to upgrade a proportion of the IT infrastructure (Servers, workstations and screens) to remain compliant with DVSA policy.
